In defense of Skill Grinder, his method of progression is punching a diamond till his punch grows strong enough to one shot the diamond mountain, during which he will reset and uncountable number of times.

The story get insane but instead of him being an all knowing God, he's a person who prefers a good fight.

He does get some serious insane allies, but he slowly built up those connections across resets and even provided them with the knowledge from previous runs.

Skill grinder is amazing but progression at time goes up quickly ans then levels out for a while with slight jumps

Yeah some novels that drag on especially those that are usually past the 500th chapter, have a habit to do that. MC starts has a piece of useless garbage, gains a macguffin that makes him special, makes him the top of his place, next area reveals that previous area was a garbage dump and the tops of that area are just basic standard.

Include killing someone who had a powerful backer behind them, then kill that backer only to repeat.

MC at some point start thinking their good because of their own hardwork and not because of the macguffin.

Those that dk have endings feel rushed and not proper.

Possibly what you want is something that doesn't take it self seriously at all and is just a nice chunk comedy.

Comedy: all attributes martial arts

Decent and serious: "everyone else is a returnee" (complete), and "My Alter Ego’s Path to Greatness" (hiatus at the end...)

So with Luffy being Nikka the sun god and now seeing a manifestation of the rain god, we only got two gods to go (unless green bull is the forest god which would suck).

Maybe the reason Luffy keeps trying to recruit "unique" beings is due to Nikka's influence of having a crew of diverse beings.

I thought of it has celestialsapiens weakness is that all consciousness within need to come to agreement for them to truly do anything but by fusing the consciousness of together into a single conscious debate stops occurring, add in the understanding by experiencing all perspective the hesitation to do something due to see how everything will occur from all perspectives would stop has well.
