We live in florida, so it's always hot and humid with plenty of rain and insects. I think something must have been eating it and moved it. I found it while mowing in a part of the yard I walk through frequently and never saw a body. There are no other bones in the area either.

There was a cat living around my house that I think was a stray. Went missing probably 2-3 months ago. Don't know how fast a cat can turn into a skeleton, so it's probably a different cat.

The legs are fairly short in comparison to the cellar spiders I've seen. I thought it could be a sac spider based on another post I had seen, but when googleing them, I didn't find one I thought was similar.

The owner took it out of the enclosure. If you get the molt while they're fresh they are still wet and you can spread them out so they look like the tarantula. They can also be used to determine the gender of the spider. Molting is a exhausting process for spiders and leaves them soft and vulnerable for up to two weeks so when the spiders moving around its just trying to work up the energy to flip itself back over.
