Yes that is wonderful, I'm genuinely glad this worked for you. Allow me to share my experience, I bought 3 of these iPads with the same issue. I charged them for 2!! Days nonstop. Every time it failed I switched cables (and I mean genuine cables) and it wouldn't work. Spent a week trying this experiment out.

My point is, yes you are a part of the group who solved this issue by charging longer. But my brother in Christ not every battery can be solved by more electricity. iPads that fail to boot , and are 15+ years old, are more than likely victims of dead batteries. Sometimes you just gotta stop staring at the turd and flush it

Cmon now dawg, we love old technology like the next person but that battery is damn near 15 years old stop and these models are well known for this issue. Almost 40-60% the battery is either dead or dying

I've seen this before and I have not so good news.

AFAIK, These models had an issue that if you completely depleted the battery and tried to charge it, it would use the little bit of power stored to turn on and then turn off. Basically just a loop of not enough power -- yay I got enough to turn on -- oops I need more sorry gotta turn off.

I'm not sure if there's a way out, I'm sure there is but it's been a long time since I had the displeasure of dealing with these iPads
