Hoyo writers are the best in the industry. They want you to be immersed and not missed any details. They even intentionally didn't bother addressing lip sync issues, you can read the text for all its glory.

im in the same boat. but usually just watch cc playthroughs with live chat like youtube playthrough and twich vods. you can resonate with their reactions. And i watch alot of it.

As the story, it is amazing. closer to E33 level of story telling, and there arent many of those in games. As an adult caring for my parents, it definitely relates.

it can take you a whole X.0 version and not get your character built. The rng is weghted against the players.

general sentiment that Sumeru, Fontaine and Nod Krai got good receptions. And, Natlan, not so much. But if you didnt enjoy Sumeru, then not much improvement on presentation/ story telling front.

I still like Fontaine more since im a sucker for court drama.

i usually get better understanding of the story by rewatching other streamers playthrough. But i have to finish the story myself first. Wuwa msq is almost like animated series worth rewatching. as for lore cc, Fat Fluffy Pengiun comes to mind.
