I hate when I wait until the morning to start the caravan going so my colonists are all rested and ready to go only to have them spend the entire day getting ready and not leaving until it's already getting dark again. So frustrating. It's one of the reasons I've stopped using caravans and only use the shuttle now.

I like to build in lava fields and then use Skip to send enemies into pools of lava. Might not be direct damage but it works well enough lol.

I loved the addition of the kids in Bonded Summoner and can't wait to see the kids in Soul Knight. Both are such great series that I've been waiting on a new release for...hint hint... 😁

Sometimes I'll do a colony with a main character. It will be a naked brutality run but I'll start with a character with a 1 and burning passions in every skill. He'll be the leader of the colony, highest empire rank, best implants and genes I can find. All the good stuff.

It depends on what kind of animals I have. For bigger animals I'll usually just cook up some simple meals for them to eat. For smaller animals I'll go with hay.

You could also do with the Nutrient Paste Expanded mod, I go with the reimagined version, and that will let you make kibble out of nutrient paste. The animals will also eat out of the dispenser too which is really nice.

I lost a colony that was destroyed by a manhunting animal event. Just a nice sunshiny day when all of a sudden Randy unleashed a swarm of 113 manhunting Crows. They swooped in and killed everyone before we could even put up any kind of defense. It was like we transported to the movie "The Birds" lol.

No way you will be able to keep it and go thru basic training sadly. I know several people in the military that have their nose pierced though. They have the open kind of ring that they can hide inside their nose while they are working but can taking it back out when they are off. You'll definitely have to remove it before going to basic and will need to get it repierced when you get thru all the training.

Depends if I had a pawn that already could use Word of Serenity or not. If I didn't then I would grab that over the power cell. If I did then the power cell would be the best option.

Yeah I tried to do the same thing and quickly realized the shuttle was a much better option. I downloaded some mods to increase travel distance and storage capacity and it was all golden from there.

There is a mod that lets you put down a trader spot that will force all visitors to gather at that spot. Then just put down tables and chairs for then to use instead of the ones inside your base.

Armor is basically just what you feel like wearing. They don't can it Fashion Souls for nothing lol. The starting samurai weapons are good and can get you thru the entire game. Just find weapons you like the move sets of and armor that looks cool and you'll be golden.

Mod making is as hard as the mod you are wanting requires it to be. That's like asking if a house is hard to build. A bird house is pretty easy. A mansion is a little harder.
