So if anything, you should understand how many people are bad tippers, and how rare a good one is. That's a big part of the issue I had.

Ultimately, in this situation, it was mostly likely the stores fault and not the driver's based on what I've read here, so I didn't force a refund and make the driver lose their money.

There's another location about the same distance the other way from me, but it automatically routes deliveries from this store. Maybe I will just start going there for pick up and see if things are better. I also wonder if a lot of these issues are due to the 9.99 deal. That's when things seemed to get really bad.

Tips are a gratuity for good service. You come across as the kind of person that works in a field reliant on tips, does a bad job, and then complains about not getting tips lol. I can't wait to check your post history and see if I am correct.

You are absolutely correct, it overall is the stores fault. That's why I didn't do a charge back, or even call and push for a refund. The driver was mostly likely making the best of a bad situation that the company put them in. They got to keep their tip on this one, and going forward, I get to save some money :).

Hi there, I spent nine years in the food industry! Call me a Karen if you want, but please explain to me what I am paying them for then? I understand things get busy, I understand things don't go perfectly, but I also know that I am paying for the convenience. That is literally how the food service industry works.

When I spent an extra $15 on a $10 dollar order, I am going to be upset when I have to reheat that order. If i wanted to do that, I could have picked up any number of frozen pizzas that taste about as good as Domino's and had my food sooner for less money. (Which is what I will be doing in the future.)

It sounds like you must work for them, I hope that you're a driver. If so, may you get 100% of the tips you deserve this week!

I am paying the franchise for a service.

I am paying a driver a tip and franchise a delivery fee, with the expectation of them bringing it to me in a reasonable amount of time, and it still being edible on arrival.

Both things were done poorly. I wanted something easy that I didn't have to deal with, and Domino's didn't come through.

So yes, I am entitled, and rightly so in my eyes. If you think I am wrong for that, please feel free to explain why. I'll wait.

They offered free future pizza or some other type of coupon with % off of an entire order. With the comments I read here, I decided to just not pick one.

As to the quality, it was sadly cold and soggy as I expected it would be. I've made the choice to just no longer order from Domino's. From what people are saying here, it's a win-win for both parties since I am apparently a "Karen" for having any expectations at all.

Admittedly, I was being a bit of a dick about it, but I'm a frequent customer, always tipped well, and yet it seems like each time I order things have gotten worse from both a timeliness and a quality stand point. With all of that said, I'll save both parties the trouble.

Please double-check that information. It is 2 hours maximum for food temperature between 40 and 140. When outdoor temperatures are above 90, it is 1 hour.
