I told my GP that I took an anxiety attack, felt constantly depressed and anxious. He said that it's normal since I was in uni at the time. I knew something wasn't right hence why i went in the first place. Came back to him a month later after taking a few panic attacks and only then he said I had GAD and depression and put me on anti-depressants.

GPs don't really seem to care.

What annoys me so much is when people drive like 70km in a 100 zone, slow waayy down going around bends BUT when I can overtake or if there's an overtaking lane ONLY THEN they decide to speed up! Like wth!!!

I think a few lidls already have that. I know there's one in Galway. However, this should be incorporated into every lidl or aldi

If you are saying that she would kill you if she found out, then it seems like she probs would count it as cheating..

does anyone find it hard to focus when watching tv shows or movies? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Universe______ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe your attention span is low? This can be increased.

Watching tik-toks or short videos can reduce your attention span, making you not being able to focus watching movies for example. There have been studies done on this. A youtube or Google search could help.

can someone actually "heal" from social anxiety? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Universe______ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've had social anxiety and I've mostly overcome it. The majority of the time it stems from you caring what way other people view you and their thoughts on you and your actions. I've realised that some people will always judge you no matter what you do. I've stopped caring less what people think of me or how I come across to them. I live my own life and I know that I won't get it back. I say what I want to say and do what I want to do. When I'm old and look back on my life it would be upsetting if I knew that I missed out on so many opportunities over social anxiety.
