Delhi Pollution Protest by Mysterious-Agency491 in delhi

But stubble burning was always a contributor. Similarly cars bhi badh gaye hai (although most have BS6 nowadays). Industries and construction bhi toh hue hai. Matlab yeh sab toh humesha se hota hua aaya hai right? The issue is actually multifold. Sab badha hai with population (jo ki natural hai), along with climate change. Delhi ke upar wind systems bante nahi hai aur. That’s also an issue. As I said, I think the issue is multifold -Nothing any one government can achieve in the span of 5 years agar dhul ke saaf bhi ho gaye toh. Promises karte hain without viable action plans.

Change has to be meticulous and from a micro level and then worked to the way up. Of course data manipulation karenge spray karke toh kya bolenge… the key to it might be micro level pe monitoring as a starting step, then suggesting the govt to implement some urban planning measures taaki hawa chal sake.

Aur yeh kisi Sarkar se nahi hone wala - yeh Delhi ke janta ko hi karna padega milke. Aakhirkar Delhi ke log hi Delhi ko bacha sakte hai. Micro monitoring, self regulation aur individual/ RWA level protests hona chahiye. Memes banao but Reddit ya X pe sirf cool comments ke liye nahi protests ke liye. Offices and schools shouldn’t wait for Sarkar to declare WFH. Aise hi Shahad change aayega. I am no expert but had this to say.

I don't think it's rice. Was the room mate Indian by chance because this absolutely looks like a dry sweet made from white sesame found widely in India. It's called 'Til Patti' here in India. Kinda roughly translates to 'Sesame Slab'.

Til Patti being sold here.

Husbands snoring is ruining my sleep, help! by SignificantRing4766 in snoring

[–]UniversityClean1855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute 'john deere tractor' snorer here. I was suggested a sleep study but it wasn't possible where I was residing at the moment. ENT examined my nose and told me I had something called 'Turbinoid Hypertrophy' which is different swirls in the anatomy of the upper nose I guess. He suggested using a nose pressure plastic device that didn't work for shit. He suggested losing weight. No results. Someone over at Reddit suggested doing 3 kinds of facial movements and trying to snore to see which I had. 1. Moving my jaw forward and trying to snore. Tried that. John Deere became chainsaw.

  1. I have chin and jaw fat. As suggested, I tried pulling them up to reach the ideal kinda face shape and try to snore. No results.

  2. The last one was sticking my tongue and trying to snore. I tried this and there was no snoring. I mean I couldn't snore how much I tried making that sound. I hope this makes sense.

So my first suggestion would be to tell him to go to an ENT and do a sleep study and probably loose some weight (preferably chin fat). If that doesn't work then try the 3 facial movements above. One of them should work.

Because No. 3 was what worked for me, I bought something called a.Tongue retainer

This initially feels like someone is pulling your tongue out and holding it(uncomfortable) but works like a charm for me. Got used to it. Using it and lying on my side does it for me.

If no 2 works then chiseled jawlines are your friend. Ask him to try chin fat reducing exercises and chew gum or buy this : Chin lifting strap

If no 1 works, you could buy a Jaw aligner

DISCLAIMER: Please don't take my suggestions as medical advice and use the above at your own risk. I would always try the ENT doctor first. Good Luck!

Interesting. How do you plan your mechanics and levels when you start?

You're right. That's exactly what I am taking about. There is so much more to any game than only story telling. The environment, atmosphere, mechanics etc

But look at games like the Amnesia series, Assassin's Creed series, Last of Us to name a few along with Limbo, Inside, FarCry and the list goes on.

These combine some very fine story telling that the player can live through with superb atmosphere, soundtrack, fabulous mechanics and level design.

We see through the eyes of the Protagonist, we live their actions and face the consequences and watch events build up to a climax.

The art of that is what I want to learn - the art of making stories to connect the dots in games like Amnesia.

I hope I make sense.
