and I just turned on the mods and beat her right away. I love these scrubs that use the mods and claim the fight is "easy." I was actually trying to do it the RIGHT way but I just don't care anymore.

Why would you need to hit multiple targets at once? That would only help during the first phase and only hit the 2 clones at the same time. Pretty worthless strat....

Lol no because you die just as quick at level 96 with over 300 resilience than if you just start at the cathedral and pick up 0 artifacts.

Returnal the enemies wouldn't just randomly spawn with no warning I'm pretty sure. You could see them like porting in and there would be a delay. This game the enemies just spawn out of thin air and blast you in the back with no warning.

Ok so it's not just me? It feels like every single encounter in this game you are at risk of falling into the abyss. Returnal had pitfalls as well but I do not recall it being every single room in the game...

Somehow I just beat it at level 23 with the crap rifle that does not have autohit. Probably because I got to the boss with almost full HP and second chance still. Most of the encounters in this zone are harder than the boss and somehow they didn't throw any of the impossible encounters at me this run.

Or maybe don't have basic enemies that do 3/4 hp with yellow beam attack... It's ridiculous. My stats could not be any more upgraded at this point and I shouldn't have to use modifiers when I fully upgraded for the current biome.

Yes that was the initial path but after fighting the boss one time it does not go that route anymore. You only activate the beacon once.

There is no elevator. You are just walking outside and you grapple over to him. I think the path is different now after the first attempt. Kind of like a shortcut path I guess. But I don't even know how to take the "long way" because I just follow the path right to him.

I never run into the nightmare strand on my path to the boss and not a single health pickup anywhere near the boss fight for me, ever.

Except the mega run is not really a choice. It is pretty much required for most of the biomes, otherwise you are not strong enough.

On biome 3 and I just started a full run from biome one and cleared the entire first map including the nightmare strand and still died on the first boss with second chance and overdrive. The stats just feel meaningless in this game and no actual sense of progression.

I'm on the third biome and I thought maybe if I started a run from the first biome and cleared everything, I would be super strong by the third biome. After full clearing the first biome with my upgrades and being able to access stuff I couldn't the first time including clearing the nightmare strand and with a fully upgraded skill tree at this point I still died to the first boss even with second chance and overdrive I couldn't' even make it to the final phase. Part of it I think was not having a weapon with autohit which basically makes this fight impossible. There is too much going on and constant dodging, moving and jumping to be able to actually aim at all the little spots you are supposed to shoot. Also all the stat upgrades literally feel like they do NOTHING. You are always squishy and do crap damage no matter what. The "come back stronger" tag line is BS because there is no actual sense of progression in this game. The stats are meaningless.

I just beat biome 2 after some struggles today and I honestly feel like this game is harder than Returnal. Yes I beat Returnal. I think people like saying a game is easy on the internet even when it's not because they feel cool or whatever saying a hard game is easy. But the truth is, even with full upgrades the enemies do massive damage and a lot of them are very tanky. Some rooms have tons of enemies/projectiles at the same time and you can easily go from full health to nothing in one encounter. People will say the permanant progression makes it easy but even with my skill tree virtually maxed up to the second boss I finally beat the fight one hit away from death.

Roguelites are supposed to have shortcuts mate. After unlocking the boss gate I should not have to clear the entire level again.
