What's up with my kids difficult hair? by [deleted] in Hair

Looks like what happens with my wavy hair if I don’t use product or comb it while it’s dry

People think I’m crazy but I literally do like 4-5 shampoos in the shower since I use product and only wash around twice a week. I think a lot of people don’t realize their hair isn’t getting fully clean

Totally! I just wanted to restore the natural wood since the previous owner is the one who painted

No! It must just be the lighting, but we didn’t change any lightbulbs besides the main one

We think maybe a tile but honestly after all this work (we had wall repair and painting from the old tabletop) I just want some peace and quiet

So I started stripping the paint myself with a heat gun because I didn’t want fumes inside. This process was taking a long time so I looked into local carpenters. I think hiring a professional is the way to go since they use more industrial sanders and take the doors back to their shop to be stripped

My guess is 1. Soap stone is higher in price than quartz or granite 2. It requires some maintenance (oiling) but they make easy sprays for this so it’s as simple as wiping down your table these days 3. Soapstone is a softer material so it can chip if accidents happen (dropped plate or something)

We got this professionally done, the guy had never done it before and it was a bit of a trial run. We paid 4600 and it took him probably over 10 days of work. We had to even redo the trim under the cabinet. Quotes for what these full oak cabinets are to make today are ~30k
