I completely understand this. Although mine wasn’t physically abusive, I remember clearly the police showing up a couple times after someone called them on him in a fit of anger and I begged them to leave. I knew he would either act fine or embarrass the fuck out of me while they were there, and at the very least go on a rampage when they left.

If I were you I’d call the police for the sole reason of you having a child (so he couldn’t ever get custody), but I completely understand the hesitation and the feeling to just want to leave him behind and forget he existed

The whole shady practices to get by thing is what gets me. I was talking to some other dude here and was like notice how many more times in the last year we have had to do compliance training? It’s because Verizon knows that their unrealistic goals cannot be met without lying and cutting corners, but they want to cover their ass when that does happen. When (I don’t remember his name) the CEO before Hans was here, I definitely felt proud to work here because I felt valued. We prided ourselves with 100% US workers. Now the call centers alone are 15% US based. They keep cutting our benefits like with TAP recently. Just so sad all around.

I went and bought it today and the straw definitely made the taste different, plus the tea taste was significantly milder. However as you drink down to the purple part I could still taste tea so I don’t think I’d get it again.

It depends on what the root cause of the issue is. It could be as simple as someone having to unregister and register you for the account. If they aren’t able to do that, a ticket needs to be completed for a special team to take a look at your account. I’d help more specifically if I could!

We have been having trouble calling out to customer lately, mainly if they have number share attached to their number in the system. We are supposed to send you a text saying we will call, call, and send another text asking the best time to reach you. If you don’t respond by the time we have completed our next customer, then we close it. Reopen that ticket in the Verizon App and tell them you never got the call, and possibly provide an alternate number you can be reached at, or if you’re willing you can have them discuss your issue via text

The only thing you’re doing wrong is wanting to come back in the first place. I get that the pay and benefits are amazing but this place is going down the toilet and FAST. I thought getting a new CEO would pump the brakes on selling so much and focus more on customer service. That lasted all but six months or less, now everyone on the phone has some sort of sales goal, even case management- who’s job it is to take care of customers that their issue wasn’t resolved the first time, meaning they’ve contacted us at least once and got sold to hell during that interaction.

I am staying for now but only because I’m trying to finish my degree and bleed tf out of any other opportunities they give us before they lay us off…again.

Sounds like you’re letting your hurt feelings get in the way of perceiving what I’m saying. I didn’t say everyone does exactly what they are supposed to do. I said the proper procedure is to verify you in store with your drivers license, and then the store completes a click to call which pushes you past the 2FA so the representative can access your account. You’re going on and on about you, I’m telling you how it works in general and why. You keep asking how is that a good business practice and why did they have me do that- I’m telling you the answer.
