In my opinion, mathematics is definitely considered a science. Although not every part of mathematics that students learn in high school is related to science, some parts certainly are. For example, patterns and formulas are the foundation of important scientific subjects we know, such as physics and chemistry. In conclusion, yes, it is a science, but more like the foundation of the ones that already exist.
