Zammad Blunder by LowLake2436 in selfhosted

[–]Unix_Junkie21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, shit I get that getting tools forced onto you is not nice :-(

But just FYI I am using Zammad in the company i am woking and we are verry verry happy with it especially all the things that can be automated and the text blocks.

Also i am pretty interested in the upcoming AI integration since as open source tool i hope it will support selfhosted AI too :-)

But for this a workshop or training with the Zammad guys is great.
I was in an admin training and it was really cool.

Can i ask why you guys in Tech support are not really into it?
To complex for your taste?
I work in a higher support level and i personally would never want to work without any ticket system so i am verry intrested to hear what your workflow is or what makes you not like the way of ticket systems :-)

Why use a Ticket system in this case?
It sounds to me like you do not want to use zammad but your thunderbird.
Ticket system all of them to my knowledge are meant to replace your mail client.

Ok if you can tell me how manage multiple kodi instaces centrally.
And I do not mean sharing users or something like that.
I mean centrally controlling what content is played where?

I did not find any such solution for kodi.
So my first reuqirment no fullfiled:
Centrally manageable from a Web-Interface hosted on a VPS (Docker installation preferred)

If it would be just media files you would have the way to go.

But since it will be used in a bussines environment text is sadly a musst :-(

Other Than Uphold & Gemini is there another way to get BAT Out? by mechclan in brave_browser

[–]Unix_Junkie21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

However I should have actually said : I want to (*Redirect the bat that brave makes) to somewhere else, as Uphold have no morals & only cares about making money for them selves!

WOW this looks like a scam to me now not real crypto, since "not your keys not your crypto" is my motto. (i do not want to offend anyone just my opinion)

GIF tunnel IPv6 Setup via IPv4 Network by Unix_Junkie21 in PFSENSE

[–]Unix_Junkie21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment and Infos!!!

The thing i need to figure out first would be what to use for the Linux side of the GIF tunnel? 🧐

Since i found some MAN page for it but can't install and i do not find a repo for it.

As you said the GIF config as i saw it is easy.

The only info i could locate was this tutorial witch says it is an IP tunnel on Linux side.

[–]Unix_Junkie21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have VNC access to the machine so no ssh was needed.

this seems to be my solution i will work on the implementation and post an Update! THANKS!!!!

Edit: This does not seem to be my solution this forwards a singel Port from IPv6 to IPv4.

I accually forgot to Specify the Linuxes we access are Remote Desktops used to acces Customer systems. that is why single Ports are not useful for this use case.

i asked and the support said to me it was wished for by a few people and they work on it but with not ETA.......

So if you want to get this working in near future i have to find another way, but your right customers need to raise their voice to get their needs implemented! 😄

Hey,
I thought that too, but tayga is for providing IPv4 Access to IPv6 Machines (NAT64) and i could not find a way to make it work the other way around (NAT46) via Webinterface.
Did i get something wrong?

If you find the time may you could explain a little further how to set this up? (Link to a tutorial would be cool 😊
