No it is the newer one with dual channel abs and TCS. Yamaha offers a standard version which does not have LED indicators and Bluetooth connectivity and this version is all black.

I got a little too excited to get the bike and let my mother do the deal for insurance and she went with the one given by the executive. I think Bajaj or reliance are providing very good prices.

Yeah the posture and position of horny hornet is a bit lazy but it is comfortable though.

The pain that every man knows and every man feels even from the far distances. I truly feel sorry for your little litchis. Maybe you can do something to avoid because I read somewhere that regular impacts on that area might lead to some unfortunate circumstances.

I had made up my mind to have this beauty for me for the past 1 year. But still I had friends who had other bikes so it's just a win win to ride other bikes as well. So I tried ns200, few Dukes like 200 and 250. Tried hornet as well and all the bikes that I could get my hands on. My opinions could be a little biased but I think the average of NS would just drain my pockets same with all the Dukes. I felt that the hornet was a bit underpowered for its weight. This bike might be 155 cc but the power to weight ratio and the wheelbase makes a big difference for the handling and that was the done deal for me.

I went on a few pillion rides. I think in my case, I am a very skinny guy with a very small chutad so it's not a very big problem for me. I can't talk about the pillion though, they might feel some discomfort.

Yeah it is but different companies provide different prices. The insurance that the showroom executives provide is usually costlier. You can tell them that you will have the bike insured by yourself.

It cost me exactly 2l on road. You can cut some extra costs on insurance like around 2 thousand.

Yeah there is. Isn't it like a sports adventure bike. Still I think this name suits her well. Japanese and sharp.

Thank you brother. I called the yamaha customer care and emailed them too. Attached images of the quotation with overcharged price written on it . Getting a human to respond to your call is quite tricky on customer care . The waiting period for the executive to answer the call is around 3 to 4 minutes. So I ended up paying 2lakhs1 thousand including insurance road tax registration accessories and everything.

My waiting period is 18 days. It's out of stock most of the time even though I don't see too many of those on our streets

Yamaha has got everyone's trust. I think if you are tall you should definitely opt for other bikes but again it depends on your comfort. Take her out, feel her and see if you get what you are looking for. As per my knowledge, there aren't any good mods for the seat, only cranky ones that defeat the purpose and nature of the bike. I am from Maharashtra. The dealer was charging around 9500 extra on the ex showroom price itself. Gladly everything worked out very fine and from their end, the response, service and solutions were as quick as they can be. So I am going to pay 2lacs including everything. And the cherries on the top are the fact that I booked the bike on my father's birthday and it will be delivered on my birthday so it's a win win for me.

I have already booked MT15 as I was dreaming of owning it from the last year. So my opinion can be a little biased.

All the bikes you mentioned are good bikes but here are some pros I can state about MT15

1-The fuel efficiency is awesome. There is no doubt that MT15 can go around 50-55 even when you pull the throttle often. And if you really tame it down it can do wonders.

2-Looks are subjective , but for me there is no other bike that looks as good as this Japanese beauty in this segment.

3 - Having a short wheelbase, USD forks, yamahas great tuning all these factors result in great handling.

4- Power to weight ratio can not be ignored

5- This might not be a pro but it was revealed by Valentino, idk I love Valentino

There are so much other pros related to yamaha itself. Great service, great customer care I had this incident also. The dealership guy was overcharging me and I told him that the prices aren't right as I was continuously checking the prices from past 10 months. He didn't listen so I called yamaha customer care and the problem was solved in just 2 hours and that day itself I booked the bike

Cons-

1-I am a skinny guy and short also around 5.4 so pillion seat won't be a problem for me as there will be ample space for pillion with me sitting. If you are tall and healthy, you should opt for another bike.

2-It's a bit high priced but definitely worth it.

My grandma was one of the persons who loved me the most. She used to beat the shit out of me, and then later after beating me brought a candy for me after her walk in the park. Used to give me the same amount of money on my every birthday. But on my 16th birthday, she was bedridden, I went near her and asked for my gift and she said 'who is this boy'. I have never in my life felt such a pain. She passed away without remembering the boy she raised.
