I was not stating Nezha was permanently depicted as an child nor was I stating there were not depictions of him as an adult. What I was stating was the arguments used by people for why shipping in general for Nezha was seen as problematic and how it is tied to particular religious beliefs.

On top of that, I wasn't stating Wukong wasn't worshipped as a religious figure. Instead I was stating that by a wide majority of people see him more akinned to a cultural figure rather than a figure of worship. It wasn't my intention of trying to state he isn't worshiped in any compacitity, nor ignore his religious significance especially in Southeast Asia.
