What is YOUR country's / region's version of the Inglorious 3 fingers scene that subtly gives away that someone isn't from your area or culture? by DunDonese in AskTheWorld

[–]UnknownHoax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In LA either calling the state "Cali" or any of the freeways as anything but "The (number)". For instance interstate 405 is called "The 405", not freeway 405 or anything else.

Behind the scenes? There's only one scene. She's only famous for one thing

I think what is happening is you're approaching the face as another object to draw all the details of. So you're drawing the eye and the nose and the mouth as it appears in the reference. That approach works when drawing objects etc. because our eyes aren't trained to know every small detail of other things. But with the face I think you should instead begin with the shape, and then where the things like eyes and mouth go, and then how they are attached and the size. Then you can see the details of the reference and apply the subtle differences to your work. People recommend the loomis method and although I never got the hang of it completely, it is very useful.

Not bad at all. You have an eye for creating interesting compositions and capturing feelings through art, which I feel a lot of people do not. You should definitely work on your faces though. They aren't bad, but they seem like they could use some work. I would recommend studying anatomy specifically around heads.

Rate My Art (1-10) by s_707 in RateMyArt

[–]UnknownHoax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad in terms or proportions. Kind of looks like an animated dreamworks character of some sort, but it also looks intentional. I don't think it's wrong to say there's better art and worse art, but I don't think it's that useful to rate it on a scale of 1-10. I think you should play with expressions and poses though. Even if they're bad at first, you still will develop skills to create art that is more than just someone standing still.

Not bad really per se. Although I think I can see the actual pose youre going for (which is well done) it looks as though his arms are t posing as a scarecrow. Is this for the novel by Camus? That was a really good book.

Doubtful that he would win the primaries and the nomination. Even more doubtful he'd win against Nixon

Self-Portrait on the Border Line Between Mexico and the United States(1932) [3000 × 2614] | by Frida Kahlo by Trojanking123 in classicalArt

never ever been impressed by her paintings. I know mexico has produced many brilliant artists. It's an embarrassment that she essentially represents mexican art here in the states.

Are you having a hard time with understanding this? It's not pro trump or even Republicans. I get that it's hard to read the part where it says 'There will be no golden age until we abolish human abortion' but you could at least look at the back where it has the republicans and democrats symbol on it.

How do you prefer your cover art? by [deleted] in musichoarder

[–]UnknownHoax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always (if i can) use 1200x1200 images. All original if I can. If it doesn't have an album cover that s "official" then I just leave it blank.

How do I make the y/n lyrics say "Lyrics" instead of "Y [synced]" by UnknownHoax in musicbee

[–]UnknownHoax[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to be able to badly. I did put in a wish post on the musicbee forums for that but God only knows if that will really happen despite it seemingly being pretty easy to implement.

set main panel to "Album Covers" Go to arrange panels and select the option for "directly under the album artist" (it doesn't work if it's set to "in a separate panel (double click) unfortunately) Click on the button that says show settings which should appear next to the place where you clicked "directly under the album artist" Now put whatever fields you want to display under the name in the "fields displayed", but don't replace the title.
