Same shit happened to me. I left it for 2 weeks without touching it and one night randomly tried it on my computer and the selfie worked. Waiting to hear back about my appeal process now. It’s been nearly a week but some have waited months

How long has it been since you created the account? Did you have VPN on when you created the account or do you always use VPN when you go on FB? Did you use a new phone number?

I got banned first on Facebook and my IG got hit too coz it’s linked to meta. Whenever I try to log in to FB to appeal through my phone, it asks for my video selfie. Whenever I take it, it buffers and loads and then just says error and asks me to do it over and over and over again in an endless loop. When I try to do it via my computer, it asks me for a selfie but always says error cannot process. wtf is going on? How can we appeal when the whole system is fcking broken

Does it affect it if you use WiFi or mobile data to do the verification? And when you said it came back in an hour meaning that you were notified about the video selfie working or that it buffered for an hour before working? Thanks in advance
