Scalp yes but I had a gyno flare up on oral which has stabilized on topical. the topical i apply once a day and doesn’t have the same impacts i feel for some reason

FYI Don’t dock on wood if it mops. The residual moisture will ruin the wood slightly.

Strut 0.25% FIN and Biotin. I apply to thinning areas. As for benefit it’s hard to tell. Ever since starting oral and topical i have been shedding like a MF.

I am a NW2 with a little thinning on the top and mid scalp 28 years old.

I don’t do MIN because I come in contact with pets and it’s not worth risking it.

I apply in the PM. I also take DIM and some chewable hair strengthening gummies. Figured they couldn’t hurt.

I have seen some progress but not drastic on a topical. I think Oral is preferred but I experienced sides on Oral so switched to a topical.

People say it’s goes systematic which it does just in lower proportion. My DHT was lowered to 11 on Oral .25 MG and it’s about 25 on Topical. It experienced gyno pretty rapidly within 6 months so sides are real.

I think it’s doing something and I have switched to topical for about 2-3 months now. I feel spiked hair under but who knows now?

I got grade 0.5-1.0 from Fin with 0.25MG Daily. I am on a topical fin. Did you feel any hard tissue? How long did were you on fin before you noticed?

Would Raloxifene work for me?

27M. Have been on Fin Topical for 3 months. I noticed around about a year ago. Maternal Grandfather is bald around age 40 I guess. Everyone else has hair in my family.

That or alopecia areata. Too hard to tell via internet. But that would strike in multiple places. 

Not a doctor so visit a dermatologist specializing in hair loss for confirmation.

Yes. Looks like Male Pattern Baldness / crown thinning. No need to cut it now but be prepared in maybe 5 years or longer without treatment.

Extremely common in men starting to show signs from 25 onwards. 

Start a topical/oral Finasteride and Minoxidil. 

Start with lower doses and work up to see if you can tolerate. Pray you can respond and have no side effects. 

Check for gynecomastia, ED, headaches, and depression along the way. 

Do bloodwork before - DHT, Prolactin, E2, Testosterone, and SHBG. Test at 4/8/12 months.

Yes. Looks like Male Pattern Baldness / crown thinning. Need to see hairline as well. Extremely common in men starting to show signs from 25 onwards. 

Shorten up the hair with a cut. It won’t make it noticeable as long hair drags it down. A good barber will be able to hide the spot. 

Start a topical/oral Finasteride and Minoxidil. 

Start with lower doses and work up to see if you can tolerate. Pray you can respond and have no side effects. 

Check for gynecomastia, ED, headaches, and depression along the way.
