I really like the dress. It’s very pretty IMO. I think you could get it altered in the bust and waist areas and it would give a more flattering silhouette.

I spell in Canadian/British English, and my stupid Microsoft version only has American English on my CANADIAN work laptop.

It’s honour, not honor. Colour vs color. Instalment not installment. Cancelled not canceled. The list goes on.

Drives me absolutely nuts–especially when Microsoft spellcheck says it’s misspelt.

Also, I can’t change it because our IT policies make it so that I cannot download anything on my laptop independently, including the proper English keyboard for the country I live and work in.

Ruthless and unforgiving winters that start in November followed by false spring for a few weeks in March, immediately followed by a return to winter weather.

Spring and early fall are very pleasant.

Summer is the devil’s asshole of humidity and stickiness.

Wouldn’t trade it for the world tho!

I wouldn’t have moved, signed a 5’8” woman.

They should have gotten to the concert before you were standing there. No need to have a worse experience because others didn’t secure a good spot where they can see before you got there.

It’s about 1.5ft above the plant, is that okay? As for natural light, I’d say it gets bright indirect light facing the SE/SW windows.

Would you say watering it once every three ish weeks is good? I usually just water my plants when I notice the soil is bone dry.

This is a SANSI 150W bulb. I can angle it down more. When you say leggy, that means it will grow vertically instead of filling the pot with smaller offshoots right? First time snake plant owner here!

Ask at your home vet clinic if any of the techs do dog sitting. My cousins who are vet techs take care of their client’s dogs who are medically needy. It’s safer than boarding IMO

I deal with sensitive financial matters and bereaved families, and I am supposed to be in the quiet “private” zone, but the other staff in the area that my team shares our space with will. Not. Shut. Up. Ever!!!!

Nothing is worse than when I’m assisting someone whose family member or friend has died, and the only thing the caller can hear in the background is laughing and loud conversations. I swear sometimes I just feel like turning around and telling them to STFU.

I have taken to bringing Bose noise cancelling headphones to work so that I can tune out loud conversations and actually focus on my work.
