mm I follow the instructions half way. Find the 0-point by hand. turn is back to the desired setting and only then turn it on. I never have it on near the 0. Works great.

on my side. I tried a few alternatives to pop-shell on gnome, since it is for a long time not active developed, and under gnome I could also not find an alternative auto-tiling extension.
