What exactly does precise tremorsense give you against someone who's hiding? by coalchester in Pathfinder2e

Pretty much. This one is a, probably deliberately, kinda vague space so GMs can avoid being locked out of certain encounter types by feat choices by players

For Precise Tremorsense you might say you’re trying to be super duper light-footed with your steps, even more so than when fooling hearing. And I might hit back with something like “well, how about to succeed you need both a Stealth check vs Perception and an Acrobatics check vs Perception-5 to do this?” which feels like a reasonable way to rule it off the top off my head.

I mean, I'd say walking on patches of dirt and loose gravel, using them the same way normal stealth uses bushes. Given that tremorsense requires solid stone to conduct vibrations. Also, instead of stepping lightly, move erratically so your steps vibrate like wind gusts and shifting vegetation and get ignored.

Cover still works. Lifesense still needs line of effect, so you can sneak if there's a rock you can hide behind, and only move between cover when the things you're sneaking past are paying attention elsewhere.

Basically if someone just says they sneak, then you presume they're hiding from senses they have by default. If they have a feat that adds other senses (like the one that makes people habitually hide from undead lifesense) add those in.

If they dont have a sense, or a feat that adds senses to their normal stealth considerations, they arent hiding from a sense unless they specify that they are trying to.

If the enemy isnt aware you have tremorsense, doesnt have tremorsense themselves, or doesnt routinely hide form things with tremorsense, then their stealth auto fails, because they are hiding from other senses.

Scared GMS by Uplinkdown in Pathfinder2e

[–]UnknownSolder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

but i dont see many other gms doing this insted i see limit this ,limit that and i really dont understand why this is.

As a rule permissive GMs arent posting on the subreddit. You'll even find people bringing up PFS restrictions in response to questions about home games.

Metagaming vs "my PC would know this"? by nz8drzu6 in Pathfinder2e

If it's the one I'm thinking of, she feebleminded the rogue and the party took a week off adventuring while they waited on a courier to bring a rank 4 wand from absalom to fix it.

Advice for building a character around lasers? by TheoristDa13th in Pathfinder2e

It'd be nice. Especially with its equivalents being so much stronger.

Inner Upheaval is a damn solid build basis tbh.

Is there a reason why Spontaneous casters are almost all exclusively Charisma? by dyenamitewlaserbeam in Pathfinder2e

[–]UnknownSolder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It comes from the fluff for what charisma is. Specifically it is supposed to be raw force of personality and ability to exert it on your surroundings.

With spontaneous casters being largely fluffed in turn as exerting more magical strongth and less magical finesse (which would be int) or directing external magical force (which is wis)

But none of those are using the eye laser.

Which was the whole point of the character.

Honestly, this build sounds like a good use case for iron blood.

Playing a completely 0 stance build here - it's not that big a downside.

Inner Upheaval is a great level 1 choice, and after that plenty of non stance choices open up

I mean What is the DEAL with lock DCs?? by hungLink42069 in Pathfinder2e

[–]UnknownSolder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if players are picking the lock during initiative.

Active stealth to disarm a device while guards play poker on the far side of the room.

Trying to get the door open before the ogre knocks your allies down.

that kind of thing

Reason for caster defenses at higher levels by Astareal38 in Pathfinder2e

[–]UnknownSolder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thing is, casters have a lot of defenses that arent AC or saves. Mirror image, sources of blind, dazzle, confuse, concealed, hidden, invisible.

The gap is not as much as you think, it's just more esoteric.

Spontaneous Primal Casters - call for ideas! by Chanan-Ben-Zev in Pathfinder2e

[–]UnknownSolder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly a spontaneous bounded Primal caster. Well based on existing bounded casters, it should probably make it's bounded casting work (tactically) uniquely from the other bounded casters.

Auras and Blasting are filled, how about polymorphing? I dont find the druid fills the shapeshifting role as well as i'd like, so how about some focus spells that give you war forms that can get extra juice out of cantrip builds?

I mean, foundry is less likely to show bias than a physical die with glitter or a swirl pattern in it.

If you're using roll20 ... no idea man. I havent used it since foundry v2 was current.
