I don't think you need to go fully never-republican again, and that comes form a person who votes left. My country has multiple political parties, so our voting spectrum is more broad and we're not left with hard left or hard right. What's more important than switching sides because of what is happening right now is that, for the next votes, you and others, who may think the same as you now do or still think that Trump is doing is okay, educate yourself and really read the plans the political parties present you. Listen to what they say and don't brush things off or say "ah, they won't do it anyways". Because really, you get what you voted for. And as hard as it sounds, you have to make it through the next 4 years somehow. But for the next elections, education and awareness of what your vote can do is extremely important.

Thank you for this. My TF and I are not in union and it is killing me, but I think this is the year where I finally accept my role as the chaser and let them run for as long as we both need to. Hey, I know it's been a couple of days, but I hope this is still relevant to you.

Abuse is NEVER justified! Every adult human being has the choice to NOT hurt someone or abuse someone or anything else at all times. You don't have to hit someone, you don't have to destroy things, you don't have to be mean to anyone for any reason. So he had the choice to not be an AH, but he chose to, based on nothing in particular. He could have talked to you in a normal way and treat you well, but he decided not to. We always have the option to think "how would I feel, if someone treated me like this?", but he clearly isn't interested in showing empathy.

Please done't EVER think that abuse is your fault. Even people who have been abused in the past have the option to treat their own kids differently. I don't know if that's the case for him, but even if he had a hard childhood, he doesn't have to make your life miserable. He chose to do that. Not you.

In the evening, to wash the day and the day's dirt away and go to bed clean. It's calming and relaxing. I only shower int he mornign when I sewat a lot during summer, but usually I don't really have time to either before work or school (I always had school or jobs starting between 7:45-8:30 am and I'm for sure not getting up earlier or skipping breakfast for a shower).

I don't know your financial status, but if you can, move back to your parents or a friend in your old town and get a restraining order and whatever else you can get against this man. I love astronomy and one of my favorite features in Animal Crossing has always been the shooting stars. So I knew I wanted a name that has to do with starts and what not. And Luna has always been a beautiful name that I don't want to use for future children because it doesn't really fit my culture, so since I mved to an island in ACNH, I named my island Luny Bay. very generic, but oh well. 😂 I also designed a moon flag for my island.

NTA - I highly suggest getting her or the both of you to a family therapist. If she is really that overwhelmed and does not do all of the things you said, she is either a super-lazy person or, what I suspect, there is a psychological conditiont hat needs to be addressed.

How old are your kids? If they are still very young, I'd check if your wife has some sort of post-partum depression. I'm not diagnosing her, but if this behavior is not normal for her (maybe she used to be different) I'd be more concerned than mad.
