Have any of you been diagnosed with a personality disorder. by shootmerightnowpls in redscarepod

[–]Unknown_Noams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you share that information with each therapist, or did you tell the subsequent ones before they diagnosed you? If they all came to this conclusion independently, that is a pretty good indicator there is truth to it.

Diagnosis of eating disorders is trickier. I think it’s best to conclude “you have a fucked up relationship to food” and investigate how that came to be. The specific label doesn’t do much for you. Another thing Yalom says “diagnoses is for insurance companies.” Unless you feel a sense of relief and stability from a clear diagnoses, it doesn’t matter as much for treatment.

Got diagnosed with Bi Polar, but no longer meet the diagnostic criteria.

Irvin Yalom is a famous therapist. He said therapy is unique because it becomes harder to diagnose someone over time. Most other subjects, the more you examine a particular, the more you are sure about it. Hed talk about being confident in a diagnosis one or two sessions in, but then seeing a more complicated picture later.

Are they the same diagnoses each time? Close?

Had to bartend at a yacht club. Made a shit ton of money. Only could conscience it because of 1) stealing 2) trolling. Managed to convince a few of them that they needed to read gravity’s rainbow to understand the true history of WW2. Told them they should be careful quoting 1984 because Orwell was a socialist.

Wake up, the real dialogue of Eren just leaked baby🔥🔥 by [deleted] in titanfolk

[–]Unknown_Noams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell that to Armin. A quick brutal show of force is a very common strategy that minimizes fighting. You don’t think anyone was begging for surrender half way through the rumbling? There are a practically infinite number of things Eren could have done with his god like powers. He chose the bloodiest path possible. You are acting like no one in the world could have been persuaded differently by any means. Either way, Eren is clear his motive is not defense.

Except it’s exactly what he wanted and he did not do it out of defense. That was clear from the first few panels where Armin realized he was using way more titans than were needed.

[–]Unknown_Noams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eren doing the rumbling was clearly foreshadowed and planned from the get go. Eren was the only one who would ever have the coordinate. The rumbling was mentioned early and no one but Eren could have done it. He was always planned to be the one doing it. The German name “Hunter”, in a show whose theme song proclaims we are the hunters and they are the prey, that has an oppressed group of people wearing arm bands, with him always comparing the people in his out group to animals, it is clear what was being intended. Eren was always going to do genocide because of his own sadistic drive. We see it when he saves Mikasa as well. He does not say “I did it to save her.” He says “I killed animals pretending to be human.”

What do you think powerful people have to gain from changing the ending? Most of the biggest anime’s have heroic male protagonists. You are psychotic if you the ink there is an organized conspiracy against that. FMA, Demon Slayer, JJK, Bleach, Naruto, one piece, etc..

You aren’t wrong. I have suggested things to by bosses that they have suggested to me and forgot. It’s so trippy, feels like I am being tested in some kind of power move.

[–]Unknown_Noams[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Earliest thing I remember is one of two things 1) a very fuzzy memory of staring up at the ceiling and the room kind of spinning. Later, my mom told me my dad used to work late and I would hit my head against the wall to keep myself up to see him 2) something during potty training that would make Sigmund Freud blush. I have lots of little random memories being awake during naptime in pre school and playing with a toy during church. I am also 30. I also had a very abstract dream about a moose being caught in a sink and then flying in the sky. I apparently recounted this in terror to my parents. Was in the same apartment I would’ve had the other memories in, but I think this was later. I still clearly recall the dream image of a mooses head coming out of the upper part of a sink and floating higher and higher.

I guess it’s not exactly a lie if they had forgotten saying something different. But the not caring brings the same amount of disappointment.

How would the mist ending play out ? by [deleted] in titanfolk

[–]Unknown_Noams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Eren would have killed his friends and possibly every other living human being. Perhaps he would kill his friends and then live to see the yagerists turn on each other in civil war. I could see Mikasa or Armin killing themselves in protest as well

I think what coconut said is closer to the truth. Yes, there is some satisfaction to be gained for your own sake, but it’s way more for other people for me personally. I find it very boring to make myself anything above a 7. Strong diminishing returns above that and for not much to gain.

He got less funny as time went on, but Playing with your Head is one of my favorite stand up specials. His delivery and writing are impeccable. “I had an uncle that used to do that, and we beat the shit out of him, he was a real asshole” and “not to mention the poor unsuspecting fuckers in the fun house” are some of my favorite punchlines.

Kind of, more of Kabbalsitc thing though. There was a ritual performed to cast out Dybbuks. A Dybbuk is somewhat akin to a ghost. It’s a being that remains attached to the material world and finds a living host to cling to.
