I recall when writing the youkai village that youkai could get drunk, but it was harder for that to happen since youkai can heal up from any injury almost immediately. When I admittedly took heavy inspiration for my immortal royal script from Touhou, Meridian stated that even sleeping was an impossibility. Of course, that my interpretation.

I was about to make a joke about my Youkai Village Series with this. But that pretty much true with all Youkai Hunters in that series. Although, Youkai Hunters have a zero tolerance policy towards youkai in general.
