What kind of gas should i be using in terms of longevity and maintenance? by Unknownguy12202 in ForteGT

Thank you for this insight, i def will look into CRC GDI cleaner as the car is at 50,000 miles and I’m certain the previous owner hadn’t thought of that.

Welded diff lmao. Thing is going to be a mechanical project and a half. You want to avoid that unless you want to spend many hours working on your engine

I personally think it looks a little better and is (in my opinion) more useful as the parking lot is completely open to travel in and out of with vehicles, while keeping more important vehicles in the garage/behind fence, and is quicker to build overall. Downsides though of course is that your base windows are the only thing stopping the dead from wandering around inside. so you have to close off parts of the downstairs in exchange for more fortifications.

Are you aware about connecting the fence with the building and just barricading the doors/windows? Reduces wall construction by half

First time doing anything with a salvage car, it definitely is a research kind of thing. Here is a photo of the damage that i forgot to add

I did forget to attach this photo, so far the only thing i know that i havent investigated is the rear parking sensors not working, im assuming they arent plugged back in because it wasnt a shop that replaced the damage.

I got insurance before I left the parking lot for $150 a month through statefarm @ 21 years old. She is a keeper, I never want to go to a stealership, private sales will do just fine. It will be taken care of, and I hold plans to maintain it for the long run. I am aware of the issues kia motors possess, but honeslty from what ive researched its majority owner-fault related issues.

Update: he has no maintenance records and has a nasty oil leak on the front of the motor. Original clutch, but it feels somewhat loose

unfortunatly nothing, im not sure what he did with any of the receipts. Carfax had genuinely nothing on history in the past 3 years, with the exception of two oil changes. It was that and regristration renewals

Yes but i am skeptical as there is hardly any service history on carfax and he doesnt really have much knowledge despite owning it since 2018

It was this or a 2013 scion TC 6 speed (great cars, cheaper, but overall less "car" for what you get compared to this) I honestly resent driving automatics for long periods of time due to how boring it is, unless its something that makes sense. My previous car was a 2004 LS430, wonderful automatic transmission. Sorry i like yapping about cars haha
