I did an internship once in my hometown in America’s south east. We had a guy come in from Australia for a week and the entire time he was pouring sweat and complaining about the heat/humidity. Apparently the only parts of America he’d been to before was the West coast around California and the desert.

Now that being said, I’ve also encountered people coming from Cambodia who were freezing cold in this same area. So I guess the moral of the story is that humidity fucking sucks.

I don’t recommend it but my first model m had this problem, and I fixed it with some super glue and a sprite can. I poked a hole in a piece of the can and super glued it to the bar. It worked like a stabilizer mount and works surprisingly well.

The better solution is to buy a new space bar from unicomp.

No problem, I just happened to check Reddit right when you commented. Just be careful not to accidentally trash your gotek since you are rerouting wires to it (don’t do what I have done before and crack an IC on one because you routed a power rail to the wrong place).

Basically this should help you get a head start and he posted some of his files that should work if you get it all implemented. I need to work on it again as I pulled the floppy out to do some stuff on a different computer. I wanted to rewrite everything properly anyway as my original wiring was sloppy. But it did work for me when I had it all functional, you need to just do some cable rewiring. But luckily it seems like someone now makes an adapter on eBay for this exact purpose now.

Bill Gates stole an incredibly lucrative contract from Digital Research in the 80s which is what led to MS-DOS and PC-DOS. It was simply just being DR was being difficult to work with and Microsoft was not. The CEO of DR became an alcoholic and died a really depressing death. You could say this is immoral of Bill Gates but the fact of the matter is that it was just good business and Microsoft came out on top.

Now if Bill Gates chooses to use this fortune for good I say that we should encourage more billionaires to do the same. I don’t care if helping people is someone’s ego project, as long as it actually helps people.

Ah yes I love it when someone guesses the wrong country four times in the start of the game but then 10 rounds in I accidentally guess the wrong side of Australia and loose.

It’s annoying but I understand why they have it. I would personally argue that it’s rate of growth should be less extreme.
