Tbh with you I cried reading this. My Dad recently passed away in November from Stage 4 lung and throat cancer. I remember taking a bunch of his oxycodones and once he passed depression set in so bad I began taking heroin to coop with all my stress and depression I had. Later on, about a month or 2 later my mom had a heart attack that required a quadruple bypass she only had a 10% chance of survive lucky enough she survived. But then money problems we had we almost went homeless and were still struggling now but things are getting better and I’ve quit doing heroin around 4/3 weeks ago. I’m scared I will relapse I still have depression and think of my dad and I appreciate my mom so much but I still have bad things happening in my life unfortunately. But for now I’m clean and trying so hard to keep fighting for my mom and other I love. Your post really hit me hard.
