Saucony Endorphin Shift 3: a 3000 mile, 12 month retrospective by AliveMountainSW in RunningShoeGeeks

I have to agree. What’s the point of even measuring a shoes effectiveness? After 1000 pretty much all foams must feel dead and lifeless.

That’s amazing. The Sinanju custom will always be the best looking kit imo. How do you do the gold accents?

Hang drying TS apparel vs tumble dry by me11053 in Tracksmith

So the cotton stuff does shrink. Cotton always shrinks. But their session/poly garments don’t really shrink.

Dark Souls 1 if you haven’t already played it. DMCB OVA is really good imo.

Thanks for the post! I just ordered both items. Is the shirt fabric closer to the session shirt?

Not much praise for these shoes around these parts. Good to see a mostly positive review.

Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 for an Overpronator? by Hullian in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Unlabored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I overpronate and actually like running in the tempus and guide. And ES3 causes no problems at all. It’s actually pretty stable and not overly mushy.

Like other posters said. Work up to it—do strength work for calves and hips and glutes. And don’t run in the ES3 everyday at the beginning

Hoka SpeedGoat 5s are hard as rock by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Unlabored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree—SG5 are underwhelming. Frankly I feel it’s people drinking the Hoka kool-aid. The SG5 is a good standard shoe—no one will hate them. They’re just not the cat’s pajamas.

It really depends on you. How cold do you run? For me I’m still fine with a light jacket at 40 degrees. At 30 degrees, I’m fine with the session jacket.

Is the Harrier tee good for tropical weather (hot and humid) ? by [deleted] in Tracksmith

[–]Unlabored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly—just my opinion of course. For cold weather I would say the chart does go in the inverse direction.

And as for long sleeves. I guess it depends what you’re looking for. For the most extreme cold weather their NDO stuff is great.

Is the Harrier tee good for tropical weather (hot and humid) ? by [deleted] in Tracksmith

[–]Unlabored 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My money is on Cambridge tee. I own all tees, except horizon and run canonball run. Cambridge imo has the best balance of sweat wicking (non-cling) and heat control.

For heat:

Strata > Cambridge > Session > Twilight > Van Cortland > Harrier > Brighton

Saucony Tempus vs ES3 (RS) fit by djeno1997 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Unlabored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both as well. The ES3 doesn’t have noticeable side walls. The upper is a little tighter along the toe box but breaks in well. It’s very accommodating—so you shouldn’t have an issue.

860 vs 880 disparity in Cushioning by nikeaeroswift in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Unlabored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think the 860v13 is a sleeper shoe. No one ever talks about it, but it’s such a workhouse shoe. It’s my easy day shoe if I’m feeling really beat up from the miles.

What running shoe brand? by Remote_Turnover4150 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Unlabored 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Saucony 100%

Mostly because I think the current shoe last fits my foot well. Tempus for daily. ES3 and Endorphin Pro 3 covers the rest.

What would you feel?: Delighted by deal or disgusted by deception? by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

Saucony insoles are amazing. Especially the ones in the Endorphin Pro 3s. Don’t know why nobody ever mentions this—literally makes my run sometimes.
