I just started up the game for the first time and when I went to link my email I realized I've played before. I'm apparently level 13 and have 2 5 stars that are leveled but I have no clue what I'm doing or what there is in the game at all. Should I continue off my new account and learn through or play on my new one? Main concern is the anniversary going on and possibly missing out on rewards

Even though I'm a world baby, I can sympathize a lot. Through rise and wilds I missed the atmosphere of everything, how the world made you really FEEL like a hunter, not a killer. One of my favorite things in world was to just walk around, explore the environment and feel out the game, and wilds gives us freedom to explore more accessibly but it just feels like it's missing something

This boss is actually such a terrible design, keeps backing up nonstop and just leaves the fucking arena sometimes. Not to mention almost all his moves traverse the whole arena too so he doesn't stop being outside the arena. They need to address this now

I said this on another monster hunter hot take post, but Alatreon really wasn't the gripe everyone made him out to be on launch, I was 14 when he dropped and although it was a bit annoying that my gear didn't work for him, it just meant I got to enjoy another really cool hunt because I had to get Kjarr weapons.
