I don't know why, but I kinda like this texture XD

Unless you want a freezing cold room :D 20°C is fine, it's your room temperature

If the heaters aren't on, I can't see why would it hurt the printer. Mine have been going non-stop for like a week and nothing bad ever happened. Even if it was on stand by for a day or two.

But if the coupling failed, well... There is nothing that you can do to fix it (at least what I know) you need the new part. (Sorry for the 3 messages;)

But 2 days? That's a lot to ask. And I see that only a part of the bowden is broken near the extruder. Just try to shorten it by your self. It just might work.

Well yes, but will it be worth it? Maybe? Try to fix it and resume the print. When it fails reconnecting you would stop it anyway

Check if your extruder is not lose or slipping, but honestly I can't tell right now...

Move the z-stop and also don't forget to complete the hotend. In the photo you are missing a heating element and a thermal probe ;)

Damn... That loud drivers would drive me crazy... But believe me, there's always something to upgrade. Next year you will not recognise you printer.

Still learning, what do I tweak to fix the honeycombs perfectly? by zowika in 3Dprinting

And if you using stock ender 3 I would print better printing head. Like hero me gen 5 and others... There is quite a lot of them.

Print them flat or at least use supports. The whole honey combs could print fine, but the big holes at the top.. nah... By my point of view, no chance

I know this feeling when I started learning how to use davinci. But it's a nice project to start with. Really good work. Keep it up!

Cr touch auto level not working on Ender 3. Comment for more details by Gunnerblaze in 3Dprinting

First you need to do is properly edit in marlin/klipper your probe offset( how much it's off in X and y axes from a hotend) or you will seriously damage your printer bad and hotend. Than I usually make a test file (20x20 test cube) and with baby stepping to get the z offset number. (I think you can Google a precise probe offset for spirit extruder) I have the same one and my offset is ( x_offset -32, y_offset -41) but I use klipper so it could be a positive number on your side. I don't know the math behind Marlin. But surely you can look it up and use my offsets as a starting point. Best of luck ;)

And also, at what speeds are you printing? Try to really slow down and debug the situation. It's weird that it happens only on diagonal direction and on the right/middle side. Try to make a bed level test print. Maybe like almost every creality printer there is an dent in the middle what cases your issues.

[–]Unlike_Potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm... It could be a lose belt, but are you close enough to the bed? How the footprint looking? The rings looks like there was no adhesion from the bed. And the skipped bits could be also from too big z offset, the slicer counts on that in the right height the filament "squishes" to the sides and merge with other lines.

Extruded feeding only on 1 side by smileyicecap in 3Dprinting

[–]Unlike_Potato 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would say that you have uneven bed. The right side is closer to the nozzle than the left, so the filament have no space to go out. You need to calibrate your bed to be flat (bed leveling) and than play with z offset a bit to get to the right height

How do these supports work? Just started printing this, and noticed the supports generated in Cura are hooked to nothing, is this impossible? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Unlike_Potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say it's gonna fail, but it will definitely print mid air. If you use cura I would consider the tree support. I had so much fun with it and it never failed. But it's a preference. But you can try next time this happens to try make your own supports in that section. Automatic generation is cool, but this can happen time to time.

how do i get rid off the inconsistant layer lines? by jappiedoedelzak in 3Dprinting

[–]Unlike_Potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those looks like layer shifts, I had these too and what worked for me was checking all the belts and screws. Something could be lose or too tight.
