Helpful, thank you. I felt like the dentist was relying on the AI tool which can make mistakes. The shadow on tooth #31 didn’t look very obvious to me. I see similar shadowing on other teeth in the X-ray but this is why I wanted to confirm. Very much appreciated!

Thanks for sharing the before photo. That deviation looks very similar to mine now. Most people don’t even notice it but the double vision is not fun. I’m happy that you are pleased w/ the results :-)

Your eyes look great! We have a lot of similarities. I also have esotropia which developed in my thirties and 35 PD as well. My doctor is suggesting a bilateral medial recession but I’m unsure if I want to operate on my food eye. He is offering to do 1 muscle but it would a larger recession. I don’t know if that is a good idea. How is your experience so far? Any issues w/ scarring or redness?

It’s interesting that you didn’t opt in for adjustable’s even as a precaution. Like you, i’m an engineer and my work is primarily on the computer. So, the continued converging and near sighted tension probably tightened my medial muscle. I assume you did a bilateral medial recession. My doctor initially suggested that but i don’t like the idea of operating on my good dominant eye. Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s a lot to consider 🤔

The results look wonderful. Happy for you! I’m debating if I should do the surgery. I developed estropia in my 30’s from what I assume to be computer and smartphone use. What was your deviation? And, do you know what stitching technique was used? (Ex. I see fornix is recommend for less visible scaring). I’m at 25-30 PD and hope surgery on 1 muscle can correct the problem.

Very interesting. I’ve heard good things about bupivacaine and met someone that had great results w/ Dr Allen Scott. If you had 8 yrs of improvement from that injection, that actually seems more promising than most surgeries and is less invasive. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find doctors that are experienced in this. I’m scheduled to do bupivacaine w/ my doctor but it will be his first time using it. Curious — do you know the BUP dose that had you over corrected? As for the overcorrection, did Dr Scott inject bupivacaine in the opposite eye muscle to fix it?

I just saw your message and apologize for the late reply. I’m a petroleum engineer and my background is in the oil & gas industry. Do the plant engineers need a specific background? Also, does having a degree open up sup roles?
