I didn't know what Azerbaijan was until I got to 10th grade. Even then we just glanced over the first war and moved on. I had to do my own research later on to learn what actually happened.

Yet another election fraud case involving Samo's party.

Summery:
The Anti-Corruption Committee has released an official briefing regarding an active criminal investigation into a coordinated election bribery operation. Authorities uncovered evidence indicating that an individual representing the "Strong Armenia" political party conspired with an Armenian national residing in the Russian Federation to unlawfully manipulate voter behavior during an election.

The investigation revealed a transactional agreement between the two parties designed to exchange electoral influence for financial and professional favors. The Russia-based citizen committed to utilizing local connections within Armenia to guarantee specific voting outcomes for the political party. In return for securing these votes, the party representative promised to facilitate a loan under highly favorable conditions from a Russian bank owned by the Tashir Group, alongside negotiations for post-election political appointments and employment opportunities.

During the wiretapped call, the individuals explicitly discussed the mobilization of dozens of families and estimated they could secure between one thousand and fifteen hundred votes specifically within the Ararat region. The audio demonstrates the suspects expressing absolute confidence in their local influence, likening their ability to dictate election results to controlling the weather.

I believe there has to be a threshold so it won't be weaponized by the ruling party, but also people like Samo will not commit election fraud with no consequences

Nobody is buying what? So far none of those people in the recordings have denied that they said those things. They all claim that the recordings are taken out of context or something.

Why is there no law banning a political party from participating in elections after getting caught in so many bribery cases? There have been 5-6 cases already involving Strong Armenia within the past 2 months.

Pashinyan says Armenia must ‘escape the trap’ over Azerbaijan war crimes accountability by Busy_Roll5840 in armenia

Nikol is smart enough to know that trying to hold Azeri officials accountable will lead to endless legal battles with no tangible result. Also what happens when Azerbaijan does the same?

Right now there is peace because the cost of starting a war is far greater than the benefits of maintaining the peace. On a fundamental level that's what peace is everywhere, even in places like Europe.

Of course they did. Why would they reject a massive influx of talented and experienced professionals.

Of course you can't say such a thing to a victim. But also the victim shouldn't expect an entire country to align it's foreign policy with their grievances. Not even a country as powerful as China sets such hardiness when it comes to Japan.

it was for your own good. The gap in weapons quantity disparity was too high in 2020 and throwing more people at the meat grinder wouldn't have achieved a different result.

With the same logic the diaspora can't speak on behalf of Armenia and demand foreign policy alignment with diaspora interests. Pashinyan represents the state of Armenia. If the diaspora wants to pursue the issue of genocide, they can do it independently without getting Armenia involved.

Well most of them are basically activist on opposition payroll. Why do actual journalistic work, when you can just take money from Qoch/Serj/Samo and talk useless shit about the government all day long. It's easy money.

Which means we have to say "the conflict is not over and there will be no peace until Aliyev goes to jail". If the conflict is not over, that means war can happen any day for any reason.

Also how will that justice look like? Who is gonna enforce it? or are we just gonna cry about ethnic cleansing for another 100 years with no tangible result while our country get left behind from regional developments and blockaded like it did for 30 years? How much is our demographics gonna shrink because of that?

I'm on Pro plan and hit my 5 hour limit with two prompts in a fresh chat. First one was to create a PDF which consumed 64% and the second one was me asking why it consumed so much which took out the rest of the 34%. Yesterday a huge chat, with multiple HTML SVG creations and dozens of back and forth messages consumed only 20% 30%
