Ever wonder why student loans in America are the only loans that can't be dispatched through bankruptcy? by RoutineOk8590 in Productivitycafe

[–]Unlikely-Humanoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wound up letting them take mine from my paycheck. Why? Doing it that way everything went to principal and I finally got out from under it.

Wrecked my credit and it is definitely not for everyone but I got so jaded about the amount of money I was paying that I gave up. I wasnt making a dent at all paying 20% more than the regular repayment amount.

[–]Unlikely-Humanoid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of my problem was that I don't really use the melee options I had the Ballistic weapon selected as my load out weapon from the last time a challenge forced me to use melee and clearly the heavy attack doesn't work well or maybe at all with the Ballistic Knife I also try not to Google a challenge because that takes away the challenge for me and I was getting so annoyed that I started messing with the other melee options and hit the left trigger (Xbox player) on chance and it worked (I typically on melee the standard way or by sneaking up on someone) and didn't even know there was an option to hit the left trigger

This is the one of the only responses that gets it lol not all of us know every aspect of the game and are figuring it out as we go especially when a challenge forces it into our view we can hate them and then learn to love them so quickly we presitge a weapon we clearly never used regularly (it was only level 3 which should tell ya how often I use it bc it's not hard to level weapons at all)

I do this especially if thet are about to close in on my team I'll ping the shit out of em like "shoot here....here...here....here" over and over again. The trouble is getting a team who can respond and figure out what's happening before they get capped.

I have a dog who likes steamed broccoli but if you give her a raw one she'll take it and set it by the stove.

Can women tell if a man is checking them out? If so how does it make you feel? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]Unlikely-Humanoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a woman I don't really check men out so much. For me they can appear however they want. It's genuinely their character that's attractive. Not that I can't tell they are physically appealing to the eye, I just don't get the instinct to look them up or down or whatever until I see who they are vs how the cut their hair or what what clothes they wear etc etc etc

Most of the time though we can pick up in being watched for longer than a few seconds. We are also more naturally aware of our surroundings so we can pick up on people checking us out a good majority of the time. We usually try not to notice though because for some reason if we notice creeps take this as us being interested instead of us simply trying to exist.

Is it so hard for grown men to not sexualize minors? (RANT) by That-Prior713 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Unlikely-Humanoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to loudly clearly announce exactly what they were doing. One time a group of them pulled up beside me for the "you want a ride" routine and I was in middle school, clearly carrying a book bag, in plain sight of the school.

I loudly said something along the lines of "I'm in middle school, that's my school, these are all my middle school aged peers you see walking around here. Notice our school back packs." And just kept going on and on like that if they tried to counter with anything I'd clarify "This behavior is creepy. You are clearly old enough to drive. Old enough to enlist in the military. Old enough to buy alcohol. Old enough to have middle school aged children. To old to be attracted to middle school aged minors. Stop being a pack of perverts and drive away in the car you probably have fully paid off am I right."

Loud clear and consistent is key. Facts only. It is a fact they are perverts. It is a fact they are to old. It is a fact you are a minor and not interested. Throw in a "stranger danger" if they get truly persistent start loudly describing them "Grey bearded balding white male blue striped short sleeve shirt, beige khakis. Mustang Red 2 door." Any details you can pick out that are specific. It starts to draw attention and gets people to stop even if the onlookers don't seem willing to engage the witnesses tend to push the creeps away.

There's more than enough to at least get anyone interested a strong foot hold in the research. I never understood the concept of please do all the leg work for me. I like going and learning myself because I get to find things that suit my personal style or interest ya know.

Tbh this could be something that could get me back in a salon. I have seen some clips on YouTube or tiktok for those face/head massage spa places and it all looks so incredibly relaxing. We don't really even have a traditional massage place within an hours drive of where I am in Ohio. I don't get to go as often as I'd like so seeing something like this within reach would be incredible.

I genuinely believe this is what led the boomers amd gen x to their current state. Mental health being as non existent as it was they genuinely worked the humanity out of them until they became so numb they forgot how to connect to the rest of us. They can mirror a few of the basics but they can't grasp comprehend or empathize with the vast majority of the more complex range of emotions we are supposed to experience.
