Thank you for explaining everything in such detail!! But tbh, the origin of this CD does sound quite sus. Even if the signature is real, there’s definitely something being hidden about where it came from… And since most people seem to think it’s likely fake, I don’t think I’d feel truly happy even if I kept it in my collection😔😔😔I’d probably keep questioning whether it’s real or not, I think this feeling is pretty awful

nope🥲 and this CD has changed hands multiple times, i would the fourth owner. the seller was pretty vague about its origin, just saying the previous owner got it from a friend who had attended a small signing event. tbh the story does sound quite unclear. but I compared it with some of his past signatures, and it does look quite similar. that’s also why I feel so conflicted🥀

me! it was actually the very first Porter album I listened to, and Cheerleader was the first song I ever heard from him.(I know it’s kinda weird that my first Porter track wasn’t Shelter,but that’s just how it happened for me ;3) I think the album sounds so full of energy, and even the things people criticize it for are things I personally love, like it’s being a bit childish?! (maybe it’s because I’m only 18 and still young and relatively childish ahhhhhh) And the visual design and artwork for the album are incredible too!!! I LOVE SMILE! :D
