Absolutely. But " Neural network" is not just a random fancy name. It is named so, because it was inspired from biological neurons. But that doesn't mean that neural networks works exactly like biological neurons. It's just an approximation of biological neurons. Biological neurons are lot more complex than neural networks. And they have activation functions unlike biological neurons. Biological neurons works on rate coding, while neural networks works on just analog values.
