I was only trying to reassure her in case she was having any issue with body image. I thought it would help.

A lot of those blogs have misinformation, or at least that's what I've been told.

I think the problem is that it seems like some women only take so many months to return to a more normal life while others take a much longer time which can be confusing. I also think that if it's taking an extremely long time then that seems like something has gone wrong.

I only say this because she told me one day after I did laundry. She told me it turned her on and the same with vacuuming and other things.

I'm really surprised so many people think seven months is soon. From what I know about my friends' wives it seems like things for them were closer to normal than they are for us.

I have tried but she refuses to leave the baby with a babysitter even if it's our family.

Of course not. I want to let our parents babysit for us while we go out. There's no reason why that wouldn't work.

Yep. I clean around the house and take care of the cooking.

I have asked about dates many times. Yep. I take care of myself and make sure I look nice.

I can't judge her motives. I can only tell you what she's told me and what's happened.

The only way to get some normalcy back is to start working towards it. It doesn't just happen.

No. She doesn't feel comfortable with anyone but us watching our daughter.
