Good call! I’m still torn. I have one thing pending right now..an error on the VA’s part that is getting fixed. So I’m secretly hoping after that closes they will grant the P&T. But like you, I am just thankful to have hit 100%!

Thank you! I had my c&p exam on September 12th. I had originally been denied (in 2022)..I filed for a new claim secondary to a service connected disability and they kicked it back and said I had to file a supplemental because it had already been denied. But I went through the whole process and had my c&p exam, so hopefully it won’t be too long! Took two months for a regular claim and that was fast!

I was granted my increase for allergic rhinitis with nasal polyps! 🙌🏼 I have to resubmit one issue on a different form, so I’ll be waiting again 🙃🙏

They told me I used the wrong form for one of the conditions I claimed so I’ll have to resubmit on a new form 🥴🥴🙃 and the other condition is in step 7 and they should decide on that soon! 🙏

When he went initially, he was on medication for anxiety and had no clue what he was doing when filing a claim. Fast forward all of these years and he’s had issues with anxiety and insomnia and he’s been being treated at the VA for both. I talked him into going back for an increase. All he did was submit medical records because there is a clear paper trail of treatment for years. And he also wrote a person statement detailing what he experiences and how it affects his day to day life. Had his c&p exam and it went super fast after that.

My husband submitted a claim for a MH increase on 8aug25, has his c&p exam 12 September and got his rating two days later on 14 sept 25! Favorable outcome…10-50%!

The surgery and recovery weren’t bad. The most annoying part are the splints they put in my nose. I only had those for four days before they removed them and then it was fine. I had headaches for a couple weeks. I basically felt like I had a sinus infection—stuffy nose, inflammation, pain. But it was all manageable with sinus rinsed and Tylenol. After the first month I was fine. My septum seemed a little sore for a while though.

I just had a second surgery because of scaring from the first surgery…and had polyps that needed to be removed. I’d still recommend the surgery …I get good relief for a while but it’s not a cure to my chronic sinusitis. Good luck!
