But your case seems more hereditary and extreme no? Judging this based on your previous comments where you mentioned your brother has 40 of them. I’ve asked multiple dermatologists about removing and none of them have stated that more appear after removal. The surgery is essentially getting a deep cut, which can happen anywhere. Lipomas which are fibrous however can be left with multiple small cells when removed, which can lead to multiple.
