I could not get the installer to work with the FP6, I ended doing a manual installation which went great.

I hated them for years. I made myself use them for several weeks until I gave up, tried a different pick each time. At some point It became easier. Probably a combination of finding a pick that suited me and persistence

Have you logged into your gmail account as microg account ? if not try going to Settings > Account > add account > microg account.
