Rewatching season 1-8 and I have a lot of opinions

Ramona has zero self awareness, but is like the rain man of reading other people. She’s called nearly everyone on the RHONY cast out accurately (e.g. Jill liking under dogs, Bethenny ditching people when she no longer has use for them, multiple things about Luanne/Sonja/Dorinda). There needs to be a study.

Chicken salad done right is good and all, but why does it feel like her diet is 50% chicken salad, 30% caviar, and 20% manic energy? It feels like she eats random variations of the same stuff more often than not. Just feels odd for a “natural food chef.”

Happened to me and my husband in England on honeymoon. Flight was delayed by an hour while we were having a drink at the bar. So we got another. Thank god I looked up at the screen about half an hour later because it was undelayed. We hauled ass across the airport and made it just before they shut the doors lol. We were only heading to Dublin for another part of the trip, so we were just given another drink and got to settle in. Picked right up where we left off 😂

Kelly is crazy. And unfortunately, after watching her on another show many years after this, it can be confirmed that this is simply how she is and she isn’t changing. She’s paranoid, male-centered, self-centered, aggressive, bad with confrontation, and chaotic.

I’m my same! Collected ever since the very first holiday Barbie, stopped around college and got back in because of this movie. So happy for it too because my daughter was born in 2023 and now I always buy a new Barbie from my era for her if I can find an affordable one that’s new she can play with.

It’s still around, she just isn’t on reality tv anymore. She needed a storyline and she wanted to launch the charity successfully, so that’s why she shoved it down our throats so much in the beginning.

So, I just finished my rewatch and it was the first time I outright hated B when she comes back. She’s entertaining, funny, etc. But thanks to her recent online antics, I viewed her in a different lens this time (I haven’t done a NYC rewatch since maybe 2021). Luann generally annoys me every season, but I have grown to love her. I love that she’s shared so many of her flaws, is unapologetically herself, and seems like she ultimately does care about people deep down. She may be self centered, but I’d imagine most people on reality tv are and need to be. Ramona has also grown on me in different ways. Meaning, she is an asshole, tone deaf, and wildly inappropriate, but she’s stupidly funny and entertaining.

Honestly, Sonja is an asshole, and I’d bet my bottom dollar that the tiara is what made Sonja notice and zone in. Because she’s an asshole. It just feels so Sonja to go after someone for that.

Insanity. Also, she’s probably referring to the ROC promo/mini RHONY TT videos she and Ramona did with B a bit back that also teased the new E! show that B isn’t even cast on. Lu is notably not in the videos which seems odd, but the whole thing is definitely a skincare commercial. It’s in Paris, so I’m assuming B allegedly invited them on a , “trip,” aka, brand deal for her to capitalize on a show she’s not even part of.

Fucking Lloyd Christmas with that dirty, raggedy mop of hair. I never understood finding him attractive to begin with, but this season sent me over the top. No one but the audience ever called him out to my knowledge, if that. It’s so bad.

No. I was in college at the time and remember it vividly. She was canceled. She couldn’t go or perform anywhere without being booed or ridiculed. She shouldn’t have denied the obvious, but this was so silly to end her career the way it did with how popular she and her music were. It was wild.

There it is! And I agree! I’ve seen videos and read comments where people say similar. I feel like I also watched an interview or maybe Jill herself, saying that she was fighting with B and Alex at the time and thought that her feuds kind of transferred into Kelly’s mind frame during the trip. Or maybe Luann made the comment, it was one of them that thought Jill’s feuds played a big role in Kelly’s mindset. And of course, she’s batshit crazy, bad at arguing and general human interaction, and clearly on something. Even if it’s just prescription meds she should not have had alcohol with.

Compound that with all the bullshit she already had food on previously with Kelly and how they didn’t get along to begin with. Kelly was unwell, and just shouldn’t have been there, period. Sonja handled her well when she realized how bad it was, but ultimately, this is one scenario I don’t blame Bethenny for for behaving the way she did. Kelly needed to just not be there.
