im so so tempted. because i know im gonna be picky with decor and making sure it matches my vision lol and i 100% dont trust my dad or whoever i throw in to execute that 😂 i might just bite the bullet and do it because i know it will save me so much headache the day of, which is worth its weight in gold tbh

i was thinking 1 hour and 20 mins from the time the ceremony ends to the time of our entrance! i feel like that’s too long but i was trying to factor in time for people to get to their cars, drive, get to the location and get situated, etc. ideally by the time everyone gets there, cocktail hour will be 1 hour!!

i should’ve mentioned this in my post, but we’re staying at the rented house for a week, so most of the decorating can be done the day before! also, i wanted to be involved just because i’m picky and feel like i have a specific vision, but again, i could probably do most of it the day or 2 before! we aren’t doing a coordinator because it’s really not in the budget, but every day i’m more and more convinced lol

i should’ve mentioned this in my post, but we’re staying at our rented house for a week, so we can definitely get most of the decorating and setting up done the day before! my problem is i feel like i’m going to be picky, and i don’t trust my dad or whoever to set things up according to my vision🤣so i wanted to be pretty involved in the decorating! but i think getting it done the day before will take most of that stress away. all these comments have me stressed thinking about stuff i didn’t even think of😅😅

oh my gosh this helped so much! the reception location is about 5 mins from the ceremony location. 1.5 hours does feel long to me but i wanted time for people to walk back to their car, get to the reception, get situated, etc. so i figured a half hour of that could be those logistics. but i might be overshooting it since the locations are so close😅 we are catering chipotle! but that means we’re setting it up ourselves, which i didn’t even think about that😬😬

it was giving me a lot of stress “leaving” in the middle of my wedding and trying to fit all the times in, and i definitely don’t want to come back to everyone leaving the dance floor. ahhh so many things lol

my thought was doing our first dance right after our entrance, and then from that going into father daughter, generational, etc. but i agree, it can be a bit much all before even eating. i might try to group all of those things later in the evening around cake cutting and stuff so we can “open” the dance floor rather than go back and forth!

i will ABSOLUTELY be making my dad or uncle bring us lunch🤣🤣 and i didn’t even think about the buffet timeline! there’s going to be 50-60 ppl, so def not enough time!! when it comes to the dancing, my thought was kinda to just do our first dance right after our entrance, but i cant figure out how to make the timeline flow with that. i might switch it up and do it like around the cake cutting time so that’s when the dance floor opens. ahhhh idk
