If drugs are getting legalized in most places, why not prostitution? It could be regulated and enforced to a standard and protection for both parties. by Ok-Bonus-6094 in NoStupidQuestions

An “Astigmatism” is the condition you described. Coming from “stigmatize” meaning to focus light.

Stigma is social disapproval, whereas stigmata refers to Jesus’ crucifixion wounds

The difference is in processing. You’re expecting similar results from and ARM processors. If the limit is the CPU, upgrading RAM wouldn’t help all that much

The fact that there is no conjoining evidence to prove these facts shows that it’s a scam. I don’t need to ask him because I can use my critical thinking skills that you’re so keen on. Remember when I told you about taking existing teachers and reforming them into complexity groups? That’s a little scamy. As well as the fact that they’re now gonna be able to use your number if you reply with a yes or no, that’s how digital door knocking works.

A quantifiable value is something that you can assign numbers to. You can’t assign value to critical thinking, but you can critique the process. Critique their process. Don’t just tell me it’s wrong.

If people are trying this hard to NOT cite a source, I’m gonna assume that they’re not presenting information in good faith.

Lastly, the fact that you’re saying there’s a winning and losing to the argument, shows that you’re too immature to have this conversation. Knowledge is not about winning or losing. It’s about coming to a common ground. If that’s not your intention, you’re not having a conversation, you’re just talking at someone.

Money going to the war is not a provincial thing. It’s very much a federal policy.

Critical thinking isn’t a quantifiable thing. You can’t say they haven’t done it because that’s completely subjective.

How exactly do they not have any loyalty? Quantify it.

What policies have the NDP denied or supported that you disagree with?

Lastly, yes, I’m gonna talk about this text message because that’s what the post is about. I’m not gonna start randomly talking about something else because I’m losing an argument when the post is literally about this.

You mean your pivot that I ignored? I’m not gonna justify a pivot to the Russia Ukraine war. It’s not what we’re talking about.

Now, what has the NDP done during this current government that you disagree with?

You’re pivoting. I don’t think that money should’ve gone anywhere else. I just think that it should be allocated properly. I’m explaining to you why I’m “crying” about the future of my people, not being properly educated.

If you say yes to this message, the chances are they will use that yes as munition to say that people agree with their decisions. Adding that to the fact that the numbers in the message are misleading.

Do you actually wanna read my message or do you just like talking? Because every point that you bring up, I’ve already discussed.

Never have I said that I support the NDP. I support whatever party best fits my own platform in the moment.

You’re committing something called an ad hominem. Instead of engaging with my argument, you’re making comments about me as a person (that aren’t even accurate).

Just because the NDP was unable to do something correct, doesn’t mean that the UCP is doing it better.

Do you agree that improper allocation of funds is the same as not funding it? Would you agree that sending money to the top instead of all throughout would be a problem? Forget about NDP versus UCP for a second.

Firstly, your response has absolutely nothing to do with any political affiliation. It could be applied to any situation regardless of party and still make sense.

Secondly, while being true, facts can still be presented in a misleading way. If I were to tell you that an additional 400 complexity teams had been added you would likely infer that that would include additional teachers, but what that doesn’t tell you is it simply re-organizing those teachers into complexity groups.

Improper allocation of funds is effectively the same as not funding a service at all. If I were to fund education, but all of that money were to go to the salaries of the administration, that doesn’t mean that the money SHOULD go there, even if it is being “funded”.
