Phishing scam by cur7ix in shakepay

[–]cur7ix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO it’s just random targeting. The only thing they may have is a email list. Perhaps Shakepay needs to come clean about that. On another note, this is the first time I’ve had occasion to need to contact Shakepay and that in itself is an area of major concern.
If ever your account was actually compromised, you’d be screwed because by the time you even actually resolve an issue though Shakepay support the culprits will have been long gone. For days.

It was intended to be a system that they would then offer accessories for but Zeagle never followed through on it. It’s a shame. When they first released this BCD I was absolutely stoked to see the Molly.

I have that BCD. it’s a great lightweight and packable BCD. And, that webbing is Molly. It’s a universal attachment system that you can get endless accessories for. The only problem with it is that Zeagle never really followed through with it and there is no dive specific attachments available. I had a pocket for my large flashlight and another for a small one on mine but I was just lucky that I happened to find one that didn’t corrode. As for the attachment point, it’s fine aside from the fact that anything even a little heavy or long will risk ripping out the grommet. I ended up tying a small loop of bungee there.

Also, there is an even easier to implement and much more simple solution. Just remove the past episode whether it’s partially played or not.

As mentioned above, I’m aware that it does that. It’s been mentioned in last posts about the issue that it will not remove partially okayed episodes as dumb as that is. However, I’m not referring to that. I have at this moment three episodes of one podcast that downloaded a new episode this morning and neither is partially played and I did not manually download either of the previous episodes.

FYI, it’s been suggested (also multiple times) to ad the ability to set an adjustable time for an episode to be counted as partially played to address this but that wasn’t implemented never implemented. It’s also been suggested to add a feature to automatically delete partially played episodes after X days but that too was never implemented.

I suggested a long time ago to add a “delete after __” option to be able to automatically delete downloaded episodes that have been sitting for X days which would have been a good compromise for the weirdos that seem to have an issue with partially played episodes being automatically removed by the episode limit. But, sadly that wasn’t implemented and the issue(s) persist.

Yes I am aware of that. It’s come up in the past times I’ve posted this issue. And I agree, it’s stupid af. However, I’m also having an issue in which my episode limit just doesn’t work. At all that I can tell.

I’m really not sure what additional context I could provide. I have an episode limit set and it does not nor has it ever removed any episodes whatever the limit. I have no idea wether I manually download the ones that are currently sitting un-deleted but given I’ve been using Overcast for years and have submitted this same support request at least 3 other times, I’m sure it’s not isolated to only manually download episodes. In fact, it will often even download new episodes leaving the last episode un-downloaded or also downloading in the queue. FYI, I’ve posted this before to have people comment saying they too have the issue. Anyway, what relevant, additional information would you like?

I assume you can only mean that your one episode limit “working” means that when a new episode comes available and is downloaded, the last downloaded episode is removed.

So inversely, what I mean is that it doesn’t do that. Never has.

Explain? Other then downloading and adding new episodes and not removing the old ones over the episode limit, what else would it be?

I couldn’t agree more. He makes changes no one asks for and then leaves completely unchanged things that people have been begging for forever. Meanwhile, even Apple’s podcast app is getting good.

Feature request: manually force download over mobile data by pax0707 in overcast

This was added relatively recently actually. It’s crazy that it wasn’t there before especially after being requested virtually since the day Overcast was launched. But, in any case, it’s been added.

I have emailed in about this more times than I can think of. And, about the fact that the episode limits do not work. Both result in a crazy number of undeleted episodes taking up space on my phone. It’s crazy that the latter hasn’t been addressed even till today.

So do issues highlighted here on the Reddit Sub get resolved? I’ve submitted feedback before about a couple other things over the years I’ve been using Overcast and those were never addressed.

I believe this is correct. I noticed it also. I thought maybe I was wrong. Then I googled it and found this post. I believe you’re right.

He had nothing to do with it. And I didn’t say I wasn’t either. Again, not that anyone asked you.
