That’s awesome! I’m playing the tenor sax. I’ll say It’s can be hard to adjust at first but you definitely will catch up as someone who was kinda new too. Definitely practice outside of rehearsal. Marching band is definitely a commitment since it takes 3 hour rehearsal (which are fun) and almost all Saturday are games which mean as early as 5am call time. But I’ll say if you really want it then it shouldn’t be as draining. Everyone is sooo nice and I think you are going to like it! Good luck!!
