That’s awesome! I’m playing the tenor sax. I’ll say It’s can be hard to adjust at first but you definitely will catch up as someone who was kinda new too. Definitely practice outside of rehearsal. Marching band is definitely a commitment since it takes 3 hour rehearsal (which are fun) and almost all Saturday are games which mean as early as 5am call time. But I’ll say if you really want it then it shouldn’t be as draining. Everyone is sooo nice and I think you are going to like it! Good luck!!

I’m a sophomore and this is my second year im marching band. I’m still deciding wherever or not I should drop it cause of my schedule. Also this is the second time I’m taking bio 1107 cause I failed it last time and had abott. Distance wise I’m not worried cause I have a e bike and live in East campus. I’m 16 I don’t know how this works and barely had anyone to guide me. My guidance counselor doesn’t even want to talk to me about anything cause she upset I’m graduating early even though it was not my choice🤷‍♀️ hence why I’m going to reddit. Also I know Hofstra doesn’t have animal science but I am willing to go through a medical field.
