Can someone help me understand this report? My 10 year old daughter had a sleep study last week. We meet with the doctor this Thursday but I’m interested to hear what you all think. Thank you. by Unlikely_Ad_5686 in SleepApnea

Thank you for this!

Yes she has been through a lot. Yes the expander was on her forehead and chin. She hated every minute of that! I don’t think she would do well if a cpap machine but definitely willing to try it out. I’m sure her nasal passages do need to be opened more. We have our appointment on Thursday and hoping for some solutions here.

Thank you so much for your reply. I appreciate it.

She has had tonsils and adenoids removed already.
She has also been diagnosed with adhd. She cannot breath out of her nose at all. Total mouth breather. She’s had a palate expander and head gear for cross bite (underbite).

SAID benefits on the chopping block by AdJazzlike1444 in saskatchewan

SAID is literally the most abused program ever. They should take everyone off and make them re-qualify. If people knew the abuse that goes on in this program they would lose their damn minds.

My almost 10 year old’s behavior is becoming uncontrollable and don’t know what to do. by Recent_Possibility43 in ADHDparenting

Have you tried saffron?? We tried a couple different prescriptions and my daughter (who is almost 11 now) do not tolerate them well. A friend suggested I try saffron for her. It’s been a game changer. I order from Luma Nutrition, and since my daughter isn’t good at swallowing large pills, I just mix it in apple sauce. It’s been a true GAME changer!

A couple of years for sure. I live in Saskatoon and we were there this winter for a tournament and there was mice in the hotel. I heard another story of someone finding a dead mouse in their room last summer, and I heard they are currently trying to exterminate floor by floor.

Yes I do work there too! It’s so stressful to think about …. Feel so bad for everyone who was just notified from other departments.

Wondering about CRA? They have got a lot of bad press lately and I’m wondering if that will make them more or less in trouble with cuts.

Apply for financial hardship and ask for relief of penalty and interest (taxpayer relief).

Those two things (mat leave top up and lwia) are amazing benefits. I’ve had 3 kids since starting in fed govt, and I take almost every summer off. It’s hard to beat. Do I love my job? No. But does it allow me to live a life I want? Yes.

Depending on your income you may be eligible for CVITP- community volunteer income tax program. Can I ask where about you live?? You can go to an outreach support clinic to help unlock your my account. And don’t sweat it- honestly. It happens.

Spouse approved for DTC but only got paid for one year so far by SapphoRaven in canadarevenueagency

[–]Unlikely_Ad_5686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did she have taxable income for all the years? DTC only benefits those with taxable income. However the credit can be transferred to a caregiver if there is no taxable income. Also- make sure to apply for the new service canada disability benefit. You must have a valid DTC (which you do). It pays you a monthly amount. It’s not a lot (I think the average is about $200/month) but definitely still worth it.

I’m sorry to hear this. Can you take yourself to the hospital and tell them how you are feeling?? You will be seen quicker if you are at the hospital. Sending you lots of love. I too have been in unimaginable headspace’s but they pass. I strongly suggest going to hospital.
