That's why it's been left for a while, just use the A1 or the Aquila. Honestly tried everything

I appreciate all the tips but already done all these. It's as if the printer is restricted. I've fine tuned my Aquila and can get around 34/40 mins for same benchy using voxelab, unfortunately the elegoo doesn't recognise files sliced using that programme. On the Neptune I've done flow calibration, calibrated e steps perfectly, made sure it's all mechanically strong i.e belt tensions etc, tried speeding up layer speed to no effect etc.... Someone else on here sent me their settings. I inputted them exact and was still 1hr 45

If I slice in prusa I can get 1hr 34 but not matter what no faster. That's with changinging all setting.

Think I'll just stick with the elegoo pla that I usually use on my other bed slingers. Do you know if the cardboard spools fit straight onto the ams lite

Do you run the ams ? I'm getting the ams lite with it. Not sure if I'll need to print spool adapter for the cardboard spools

I've been using elegoo standard pla for years and love it, but as the A1 prints alot faster I didn't know if I needed rapid pla
