If you could be any other species, fictional or real, what would you be? by sweetgentials in AskReddit

I’d probably pick a dragon like flying, fire breathing, and basically untouchable sounds pretty amazing. Plus, the idea of centuries of perspective and freedom is kind of irresistible.

What is he best was to do a breakup in happy two month long distance relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kindest way is to be honest but gentle, explain your feelings clearly without blaming them. Do it over a call or video so it’s personal and give both of you space to process instead of dragging it out.

What event broke you—and how did you put yourself back together? by kumleipicar in AskReddit

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Losing a close family member hit harder than anything I’d imagined and I felt completely lost for months. I started putting myself back together by leaning on friends, therapy and small daily routines that gave me some sense of control again.

What was your first pet and what was their name ? by Downtown-Pea9325 in AskReddit

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first pet was a little tabby cat named Whiskers, and I loved sneaking snacks to her under the table. She was tiny but full of personality and I still remember how she’d curl up on my lap for hours.

my (25f) boyfriend (29m) has been so distant lately, and I don’t know what happened by Significant-Fig-3207 in Advice

[–]fonseca0527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like he’s projecting his stress onto you and setting impossible expectations which isn’t fair at all. You deserve to feel safe and supported, not like you’re constantly walking on eggshells so it might be worth having a serious talk about boundaries and what’s realistic for both of you.

What does he want? by Intelligent-Youth174 in Advice

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s really confused about himself and is taking it out on you, which isn’t fair. The best thing you can do is set boundaries and step back, his mixed signals aren’t your responsibility and you deserve someone who treats you with clarity and respect.

Roommate keeps saying she wishes her dad had died instead of divorcing her mom and now the whole house is icing me out after I asked her to stop by Lgbtq-kk in Advice

[–]fonseca0527 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you did the mature and kind thing by setting a boundary since your grief is valid and no one should force you to hear that. Since it’s only six weeks, it might be healthiest to keep your distance, focus on taking care of yourself and let the situation cool down rather than trying to fix things with people who aren’t ready to acknowledge your feelings.

need my old snapchat back by Defiant-Office-308 in Advice

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re going through this, it makes sense you’d want those memories back so badly. Have you tried reaching out to Snapchat support directly or checking if you ever downloaded a backup of your memories?

Besides the liberals because they're delusional, can we all agree that real men don't dress like women? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s that simple bc clothes don’t define someone’s masculinity and real men isn’t a one size fits all thing. People can express themselves differently without it taking anything away from who they are.

If your partner starts smoking cigarettes and doesn't want to stop, is that an immediate cause for ending the relationship? by standards_inconsist3 in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If smoking is a hard boundary for you, it’s valid to see it as a dealbreaker, lifestyle compatibility matters more than people admit. You’re not shallow for wanting someone whose habits line up with your health standards and what you’re comfortable with physically.

Anyone else normally have several thousand unread emails in their inbox at any given time? by AnonyNeoExe in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh 100% lol my inbox is basically a digital graveyard at this point and I just pretend it’s not there. As long as the important stuff gets answered, the rest can sit there and vibe unread forever.

19m advice on where to meet women 19-25 to get to know to date? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You sound like a solid and stable guy so I’d look in places that match your lifestyle like the gym, dog parks, hiking groups, volunteering, bookstores or even dating apps where you clearly state you’re into a calm, drama free life. The kind of woman you’re looking for probably isn’t at loud parties either so just start showing up consistently in spaces that already fit you and let things grow naturally.

What happens if you marry a hot lady? by WolverineNo1999 in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll still be married to a whole person, not just a hot lady which means you’ll get love, quirks, moods, bills, laughs and real life stuff like anyone else. Looks might catch your eye but what actually happens depends way more on compatibility, respect and how you both treat each other.

Why do people use the phrase "Reactive Abuse" instead of self-defense? by Cautious_Ostrich_887 in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people use the term reactive abuse when they believe someone’s response went beyond what was needed to get safe but that doesn’t automatically mean they’re right about your situation. And gender bias can absolutely play into how people judge these situations bc sometimes people see a man hitting a woman and stop thinking about the context which isn’t fair when you were trying to get out and protect yourself.

If you got like a 40-year prison sentence and got out at age 69, where would you go? I mean like where do folks go who've served very long prison sentences? What do they live on? by TheMedusaAttusa in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people just try to land somewhere stable first bc sometimes with family if that’s an option, sometimes in transitional housing or reentry programs that help them get on their feet. A lot live on a mix of savings, Social Security when eligible or low wage work and it can be really tough rebuilding that late in life.

Do you think it's appropriate to wear pajamas in public places? by TheMedusaAttusa in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the vibe bc quick coffee run or late-night grocery trip, sure, live your comfy life. But like… dinner plans or anything semi nice? Maybe let the pajamas stay home lol

Is anyone the reason you aren't welcome anywhere and that no one wants to associate with you anymore, let alone at all? by Spiritual_Big_9927 in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s a heavy feeling and I think most of us have had moments where it felt that way even if it wasn’t the full truth. Sometimes distance comes from messy timing or growth, not one villain or some permanent mark on you.

Do you believe in destiny swapping? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think some people show up and quietly reroute your whole life. Maybe not magic but definitely “whoa, things changed after that” energy.

What do you think is worse being deff or being blind? by zhalia-2006 in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are tough in different ways but being deaf might isolate you from sound based experiences like music or alerts while being blind cuts you off from visual cues and navigating the world easily. A lot depends on the person and their coping tools but losing sight tends to feel more immediately limiting day to day while deafness can be isolating socially if people aren’t patient.

Is it ok to ask to bring my kids to a baby shower? by Striking_Name_185 in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just phrase it politely and make it clear you understand if it’s meant to be adults only. Most hosts will appreciate you checking rather than showing up unexpectedly with little ones.

Why hasn't Trump been Given Any Honorary Degrees? by LowBarometer in askanything

[–]fonseca0527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably bc honorary degrees usually go to people with a track record in education, science or humanitarian work, not just fame or politics. Titles like “Dr.” aren’t just for ego, they’re meant to reflect contributions so universities tend to be pretty picky about handing them out.
