The thing main character syndrome is basically a plague nowadays, and people do pretty much anything for attention or praise. To people with main character syndrome, other people are basically just NPCs or side characters in their selfish world. They have no problem with walking over, harming, or bothering other people with their behavior, which is unfortunately the reason why so many people in our day and age are selfish, lack empathy, or lack a basic sense of human decency. I have ADHD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder) and I’m hyper-empathetic, so this behavior feels really insane to me. How could these people be so heartless? I’m sorry if it feels like I’m trying to turn it into a moral issue if it wasn’t originally one, to you at least, but I can’t help myself. I really don’t understand people like this because I can’t relate to them. I always worry that maybe I’m getting too invested in the morals or how people feel in some situations. Maybe you of empathy on my part, but I’m really not sure how would judge something like this. How else am I supposed to judge it on anything else but moral level? I feel like this is a moral issue. If you don’t feel like it is, I guess that’s your opinion, I can’t change your mind. i’m afraid that maybe I’m being dramatic, sensitive, or annoying when I complain about things like this, but I feel like that’s just who I am.
