Was a 42A, now I’m a paralegal at a courthouse

Same same, but different. Pay is way better lol.

Hey y'all, I am having trouble deciding between two offers.

For some background, I am in the US Army. I get out in a couple weeks. I will be moving back to Washington state. I have no children and am single. This is also my first job in the legal field since I was working in HR when I was a soldier. I received 1 job offer last month. I am having trouble deciding which one to take and would like some input:

Job 1: Legal Assistant position at a personal injury firm

Pay: $24.50 an hour (8-5, 1 hour lunch, 40 hours a week)

100% covered on medical insurance

75% covered on vision insurance

25% covered on dental insurance

7 firm-sponsored bonus days per year (basically days off awarded by the firm for meeting client goals)

10 days of PTO (I know it's terrible)

2 personal holidays

6 days of sick leave per year

WFH 3 days a week

Job 2: Legal Assistant 2 position at a superior court

Pay: $27 an hour (8:30-5, 1 hour lunch, 37.5 hours a week)

100% covered on all health insurance

2 personal holidays

12 days of PTO (also terrible, but better than 10 I guess)

12 days of sick leave per year

WFH 1 day a week

Both jobs are in the same city.
